Remembering My Mother

Many people have expressed their sympathies about my mother’s long, painful battle with cancer, saying how hard it was for them when their parents had to spend months in the hospital. However, I realized after she passed that I am grateful to have spent some time with her during this last chapter of her life. It’s a gentle reminder for all of us.

Job 19:25–25 says: For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God
